This top has been edge banded with 3/4" of solid maple.
The joints at the banding will loosen in time due to the motion of the maple in two different directions.
This lends itself to the look of an old wood top.
The actual finish was antiqued and distressed to simulate use over time.
These Counters come with a hard Waterproof
Marine Oil Finish that may be maintained with
Butcher's Wax or
Butcher Block Dressing Oil.
